The Upper Iowa Conference recently announced its 2025 postseason volleyball all-conference teams, which featured three South Winneshiek players and four North Fayette Valley players – including Player of the Team Lily Holthaus.
The TigerHawk junior helped lead her team to a third consecutive undefeated conference season to win the Big Division as she contributed in virtually all aspects of the game. Holthaus finished in the top seven for each major stat category, including on offense, defense, and serving.
On the season, Holthaus accounted for 24 defensive assists (2nd in UIC BD), 425 offensive assists (3rd), 31 blocks (4th), 238 digs (6th), 41 aces (tied for 6th), and 127 kills (15th). She also finished with a .235 kill efficiency (5th) and 94.2 percent serve efficiency rate (7th).
Teammates joining Holthaus in earning postseason honors including First-Teamer Ella Sieck and Second-Teamers Hannah Schroeder and Lila Moore.
The junior libero Sieck finished third in the UIC Big Division in digs with 331 on the year while also contributing 66 assists (11th).
Highlighting the Second-Team selections was Schroeder with the second highest block total in the conference with 37 to go along with 161 kills (11th) in her senior season, and junior Lila Moore who finished fifth with 2.8 kills per set and eighth in total kills with 212.
For the Warriors, it was senior Ella Theis and sophomore Bailey Kuennen earning First-Team distinction to go along with Alyssa Holthaus closing out her senior campaign with a Second-Team nod.
Theis led the UIC Big Division in assists in 2025 with 715 while also finishing third in serving efficiency (96.2 percent) and eighth in aces (40). Kuennen finished the season third in kills with 273, second in kills per set (3.7), and seventh in kill efficiency (.220).
Holthaus’ season included finishing with the conference’s best kill efficiency at .302 while also recording 216 kills (6th) and 26 blocks (7th).
