FAYETTE — The Blue Devils won their first dual match in more than a year’s time with a 187-200 victory Monday against Upper Iowa Conference foe Postville at Big Rock Country Club.

Evan Streittmatter carded a career-low nine-hole round of 42 to earn medalist honors. Brody Wolff (48) and Anthony Spratt (48) tied for fourth while Blake Ei-tel rounded out the team score with a 49. Carson VanSkyhawk shot a 53.

West Central’s Lilli Eitel was medalist with a 48 on Monday at Big Rock Country Club in the Blue Devils’ final home match.

Maranda Prickett and Abby Sieck were both runner-up with a 56.

Sumner-Fredericksburg’s girls shot a 182 during a dual match against a trio of Wapsie Valley golfers Tuesday at Meadowbrook Country Club in Sumner. Sumner’s Chloe Bolte shot a 35 to win medalist honors.

Kylee Krueger (46), Katherine Swehla (50), Gracie Bloes (51) and Alexa Buhman (65) rounded out the team score. Scores for the Warriors were not available as of press time.

Starmont’s girls shot a 222 Tuesday at Backbone Golf & Country Club in Strawberry Point during a triangular with a handful of Central City and Springville golfers. Giulia Carbone-Kruger was runner-up with a 45 and Benelli Meyers shot a 48 to finish third.

Breeze Neal (64), Tiffany Riechers (65), Rylynn Shepley (66) finished three shots apart and Halie Shepley was four behind her older sister.

Wapsie Valley’s Addisyn McElhose carded a 55 to place third Monday during a triangular at Maple Hills Country Club.

Norah Oldfather (57) tied for fourth and Abby Mann (61) was sixth.

Oelwein’s boys shot a 345 to place eighth during the Columbus Catholic Invitational on Monday at Sunnyside Golf & Country Club. The Huskies were five strokes behind Charles City.

Ethan Anderson shot a 79 and Brandon Tournier shot an 83 four Oelwein.

Sumner-Fredericksburg shot as 368 to place right behind Oelwein. Wapsie Valley shot a 375.

Sumner’s Jackson Reisner shot an 86 to lead the Cougars. No individual scores were reported for the Warriors.
