Sophomore outfielder McKinzie See was named NICL East first-team outfielder, one of four Oelwein players named all-conference this season.
See batted .410 (34 for 83), with 18 runs scored, 14 runs batted in, five walks, four hit-by-pitches, three steals and a triple.
“Making first team is an amazing thing. I had fun this season,” See said. “After the struggles I had last season, I’m glad that I did better this year.
“I hope it continues in the next two seasons. I’m excited to see.”
The Huskies (10-17, 3-9) saw outfielder Macy Westendorf and pitcher/outfielder Aspen Weir (utility) selected second team.
Westendorf batted .333 with 23 runs scored, 14 walks and 11 steals.
Weir went 9-12 during 21 starts in the circle. She struck out 124 and posted a 4.19 earned-run average. Weir hit .378 with 24 RBI.
Catcher Jaylynn Craun was named honorable mention. Craun hit a team-best .418 with 14 RBI and a triple.
