The Nashua-Plainfield boys track and field team will have no shortage of athletes to choose from this year. According to Head Coach Chase Sudol, the team has 46 guys on the team, each of whom are ready to work for success.
The team is led by three returning members of the state qualifying 4x800 meter relay team from a year ago: Jake Smith, Jase Hansen, and Avery Muller. Also returning after a 2024 state appearance is Eli Kalainoff in the discus.
Sudol says, “We have the hardest working group of boys since I became track coach. They are extremely coachable and just do everything we ask. We feel like this is the deepest team that we have had with good sprinters, long distant runners and field events. We are extremely excited about this team.â€
Sudol also mentioned that he is hoping to compete for district and conference titles this year. Although he didn’t mention it by name, with the excitement on the team, they will likely hope to contend at the state tournament.
