INDEPENDENCE – The Independence Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed Gerald and Brandy Hershey as new owners of the Pizza Ranch as part of their May meeting.
They have owned the Oelwein Pizza Ranch since 2019 and purchased the Independence franchise in October of 2024. General Manager Tasha Auer has worked at the Independence Pizza Ranch for 15 years.
The overall favorite of the management team is the chicken.
“Country’s best,†said Auer.
Brandy added the salad bar and the pepperoni pizza with green olives to her list.
The Hershey’s have continued the practice of holding Community Impact nights on Mondays where organizations can bus tables for tips. Organizations may call 319-334-9000 and talk to a manager for details.
