Each Tuesday in May, Independence Fareway and Nick’s Grocery (Winthrop) shoppers have a chance to win a pack of T-bone steaks, courtesy of Buchanan County Farm Bureau.
Customers can enter the “T-Bone Tuesday†drawing at the meat counter—no purchase necessary. One winner will be contacted each week to claim the prize.
“T-Bone Tuesday is a great way for us to have fun and help promote the beef industry!†says Meghan Liebold, Buchanan County Farm Bureau president. “As farmers, we work hard every day to provide the best care for our livestock. We want to provide the best possible meat to consumers.â€
