Boys State will be held June 22 through 27 at Camp Dodge at Johnston.

Raeleigh is active in sports at West Central including volleyball, basketball, track and softball. Other activities at school include participating on the student council, as a youth mentor and in µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø. Outside of school, Raeleigh is an active member of 4-H.
She is the daughter of Bobbie Hepker. Her family also includes three sisters, Alanna, Karlie and Kenidee, a brother Dayton, and nephew Marlon.
Raeleigh will join dozens of girls sponsored by auxiliary units across the state at the annual Iowa Girls State June 15-20 on Drake University campus in Des Moines. Iowa Girls State is a leadership program created to increase young women’s awareness and knowledge of the Iowa governmental processes. This is done through participation in an imaginary state from the district to the county and then to the state level. Girls learn about their duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. For the week, they live in a community setting sharing a dorm room, meeting peers and forming friendships that can last a lifetime.
