The weather was warm, no wind, no bugs! But there was a lot of casual water on the course from the previous heavy rains Vinton had received. We were hoping for better scores; unfortunately for our home team, that was not the case. We had lots of approaches and putting issues. However, freshman Chloe Grimm had her personal best and was the JV medalist. We all know golf can be a fickle friend, and tonight we had to live with that.
Our final meet this week is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 at our home course again with Union, South Tama and the lone Center Point-Urbana one person team coming to the Viinton Country Club.
