INDEPENDENCE – The City of Independence Utilities Department will be conducting a necessary water main repair on 8th Ave. NE, requiring a full road closure starting at 7:00 AM on Monday, June 23rd.
The closure will affect the section of 8th Ave. NE located between 8th St. NE and the northern intersection of 10th St. NE. The project is expected to be completed within three weeks, with the road fully reopening to traffic, weather permitting.
