Bryce Bergman

Recent Sumner-Fredericksburg graduate Bryce Bergman signs with the Wartburg College bowling team in an undated photo.

Son of Rachel Bruggeman and Ben Bruggeman and Scott Bergman and Melissa Nickerson-Bergman, Sumner-Fredericksburg 2024 graduate Bryce Bergman will be attending Wartburg College in Waverly to major in Psychology and be a part of their bowling team.

Over the years on the bowling team, of which was his favorite activity, he most remembers how much fun bowling practices were and the great atmosphere.

Bryce broke multiple bowling records during his senior season, writing “It’s important to me because some of the records that were broken were team records. It showed overall improvement team wise throughout the years and showed how much the team worked to beat these records.â€

Bryce led the senior season with 418 high series and around 4,000 pins collected, helping the Cougar team close their season with seven victories from two. He was the on-lane leader of the program. Bryce was a key figure alongside other returning bowlers for the S-F Cougars. The bowler also competed in soccer and cross country.

Bryce is the sibling of Michael Rechkemmer, Kurtis Bergman, Kayden Nickerson, Sawyer Nickerson-Bergman and Greysen Bergman, and the grandson of Jean and Jeff Rechkemmer.
