Lainee Reisner, Oelwein High School Class of 2025 graduate, will be attending Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo to complete her general education as well as continue to play volleyball.
Daughter of Hallie and Brian Roth, she hopes to transfer to Allen College to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lainee was involved in volleyball, Belle Voce and µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø.
“Volleyball was a safe space for me, and I met so many good people throughout the years,†she said.
She earned 2nd team All-Conference honors in volleyball and most recently was awarded a Greenhand Degree in µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø. Her senior year in volleyball, she led Oelwein in kills (152) and kill attempts (456). She was second in digs (171) and third in total blocks (four solo blocks, nine block assists) and fourth in aces (23). Her favorite activity, though, was choir with Mrs. Darci Fuelling.
“Mrs. Fuelling is a high spirit and never fails to put a smile on your face,†she said. “I always look forward to choir.â€
Lainee is the sibling of Zoey, Alexis, Cameron, Corbin and Sydney.
