An Oelwein man, Justin Michael Klendworth, 42, sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, April 22.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday on Ivy Road near Highway 150, about a mile north of Fayette. Klendworth was westbound on Ivy Road and approached a curve where he lost control of his motorcycle. He was airlifted from the scene via University of Iowa Air Care. Also assisting were Fayette Ambulance Service and Iowa State Patrol.
