At approximately 1:30 p.m. Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tosha Danielle Medina, 40, of Oelwein, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for violation of pre-trial release and taken into custody from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Monday, April 21

At approximately 8 a.m. deputies arrested a 17-year-old male from Independence, charging him with second degree criminal mischief (Class D felony). This juvenile was booked and released to parents/guardians and will be referred to Juvenile Court Services in this matter.

At 12:25 p.m. deputies arrested a 17-year-old male from Brandon, charging him with second degree criminal mischief (Class D felony). This juvenile was booked and released to parents/guardians and will be referred to Juvenile Court Services in this matter.

At 3:05 p.m. deputies arrested Carah Belle Evans, 41, of Fairbank, for with first offense operating while intoxicated/impaired (serious misdemeanor) and cited for failure to display license plates, stopping on traveled portion of roadway and failure to provide proof of insurance. This arrest was made following a report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road near 100th Street (Hwy 281) and Dillon Avenue.

At approximately 3:40 p.m. deputies arrested William Davis, 32, of Independence, for second offence operating while intoxicated/impaired (aggravated misdemeanor), driving while license suspended (simple misdemeanor), failure to carry SR22 insurance (simple misdemeanor) and cited for open container and failure to maintain control. This arrest was made following a minor motor vehicle accident in the 1700 block of 270th Street.

At 6:10 p.m. deputies arrested Eric Dean Zieser, 44, of Hazleton, for driving while license revoked (serious misdemeanor), driving while license suspended (simple misdemeanor), operation without ignition interlock device (simple misdemeanor) and failure to carry SR22 insurance as required (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made following a traffic stop near Fontana Blvd and Jackson Avenue (Hwy 150).

Wednesday, April 23

At 5:10 p.m. deputies arrested Carah Belle Evans, 41, of Fairbank, for first offense operating while intoxicated/impaired (serious misdemeanor) and unlawful possession/use of nitrous oxide (serious misdemeanor). This arrest was made following a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the middle of the road near 260th Street and Dugan Avenue.

Friday, April 25

At approximately 2:15 p.m. deputies arrested Joshua Michael Lillibridge, 25, of Oelwein, for driving while license suspended (simple misdemeanor), possession of controlled substance – marijuana (serious misdemeanor), unlawful possession of prescription drugs (serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made following a traffic stop near 100th Street (Hwy 281) and Fairbank-Amish Blvd.

Saturday, April 26

At approximately 7:45 a.m. deputies arrested Joseph James Meek, 46, of Independence, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for violation of pre-trial release and held on bond at the Buchanan County Jail.
