At 5:15 p.m. Jason Baumgartner, 36, of Ossian, was transported from the Allamakee County Jail to Winneshiek County Jail where he was arrested and booked on two arrest warrants for violation of probation.
Sunday, June 8
At 6 p.m. Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Pontoppidan Road near Decorah to a reported disturbance. Chad South, 35, and Kristian South, 27, were arrested and charged with aggravated misdemeanor child endangerment and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail. Chad South was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
Monday, June 9
At approximately 2:30 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Old Stage Road. Mylan Marie Dougherty, 17, of Waukon, was driving south in a 2006 Honda Accord, and began navigating a sharp curve in the road. The car’s passenger tires dipped onto the shoulder causing her to lose control. Dougherty overcorrected and entered the ditch on the opposite side of the road where the vehicle rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. She was transported to Winn Med ER with suspected minor injuries.
