Interested in hearing an ancestor’s story of how they were involved in the Civil War?
The Bremer County Genealogical Society will be hosting an evening of Civil War ancestor journeys at the Denver Public Library, Tuesday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m. A short battle video and tips on researching a Civil War ancestor will also be presented.
Everyone who has an interest in the Civil War is welcome whether they have an ancestor who was in the Civil War or not. The Bremer County Genealogical Society provides educational genealogical and family history programming March-May and September-December at Bremer County libraries.
Membership is $10 a year to receive the newsletter twice a year and to support projects the society does.
