Have extra plants you can donate? Need to divide plants? Don’t compost them—bring them to the 4-H Building at the old fairgrounds/Kid’s Kingdom/Memorial Park at 717 Fifth Ave. SW, Waverly.
To donate: label plants (potted or unpotted in boxes or bags) and drop them off on the east side of the building near the garage door through Wednesday, May 14.
The Waverly Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 17, from 8-11 a.m. Proceeds go toward civic plantings, a new kaleidoscope planter project and more.
