The book “49 Chameleons: Reflections on Navigating Change and Leading with Confidence†is, according to author Dr. Celina Peerman, a transformative new book in a series of three that she will be releasing by summer of this year.

In a press release to regional media organizations, Peerman — who is an organizational psychologist and globally recognized workplace advisor — stated that the compact, 50-plus page guide is “packed with actionable insights to help leaders and professionals adapt, lead, and thrive in today’s ever-changing environments.â€

Peerman said that the lessons in the book empower readers to break change into manageable, actionable steps, turning transitions into opportunities for growth. With lessons spanning change, strategy, leadership, relationships, communication and adaptability, she noted that the book offers “a roadmap to resilience, creativity, and purpose.â€

“(The book) 49 Chameleons is about helping people embrace the challenges of change while developing the confidence to lead effectively,†Peerman stated. “Each lesson encourages reflection and provides practical strategies for navigating complexity.â€

According to the release, Peerman draws on more than 30 years of experience as a senior HR professional, leadership coach and two-time TEDx speaker who blends “academic expertise with real-world applications. Each chapter is designed for busy professionals, offering bite-sized lessons that inspire reflection and action.â€

“Adaptability isn’t about changing who you are; it’s about reflecting the light around you in ways that make you stronger, clearer, and ready for what’s next,†Peerman stated. “Leadership isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about learning, adjusting, and guiding others through the space between where you are and where you want to be.â€

Based in Waverly, Peerman is the founder of The Peerman Group and she said she has helped thousands of individuals take their learning to the next level while supporting leaders to embrace meaningful, lasting change.

The book is available for online ordering at and on Amazon Kindle. Peerman is hosting an open house on Friday, Jan. 31, at The Peerman Group office at 416 W. Bremer Ave., from 4-6 p.m.
